The new Ghost Goal graphic t-shirt depicts that moment when the ball is over the line, or not, depending on which team you support. It's in from one angle, not from the other. Known widely as a Ghost Goal.
In the 1966 World Cup Final we had this sporting quandary. Geoff Hurst's shot struck the crossbar and bounced down on or over the line. The pivotal goal was awarded by linesman Tofiq Bahramov much to the dismay of the German players. It's an issue that is still being debated 57 years later.
Our latest t-shirt graphically depicts this moment through abstract shapes, modular geometry and colour blocking.
The Admiral tee is garment dyed with a screen printed graphic to the back. It has been expertly crafted from a substantial 220gsm heavy cotton jersey for the ultimate vintage sportswear look. The ‘set in’ sleeves have been cut and sewn separately to provide a much smoother and more comfortable fit. Whilst the bound collar, cuffs and hems have all been constructed using twin needle stitching to strengthen and reinforce the garment.
