Cricket FAQs
Where are our cricket bats manufactured?
Our cricket bats are expertly crafted by Chase Cricket based in Hampshire. Their precision engineering and manufacturing techniques made them the perfect partner to fulfil our pursuit for high quality equipment manufacturing based in the UK.
Do our bats come knocked in?
All bats Chase produce leave the workshop 80% pre-prepared meaning you can enjoy more time playing cricket than preparing for it.
We would recommend that you take further time knocking in the bat with a cricket mallet, throw downs or a bowling machine to further increase the bats performance. Bowling machine balls are a lot more forgiving than standard cricket balls and an ideal way to prepare your bat.
A further 30 mins in the nets or 15 mins knocking in with a mallet is recommended.
We highly recommend a bat face is added to increase the life and performance of the bat.
What Weight range are your cricket bats?
Light weight bats are up to 2lb9oz
Medium weight ats are between 2lb9oz and 2lb12oz
Do we offer a warranty on your cricket bats?
We offer a warranty against any fault in the manufacturing process or through defective materials for a period of 12 months, from date of purchase.
If you believe a warranty claim should apply the receipt of purchase must be returned with the item to the original place of purchase for any claim to be valid.
In any case of a replacement product being offered, the remaining warranty period on the existing product will be carried over to the new product.
Please be aware that damage such as a mistimed shot, tapping down, hitting a yorker ball, misuse, insufficient knocking in and preparation, superficial surface cracking, damaged edges, alterations, excessive use and water damage will not be covered by our warranty.
