People painted their homes, waved scarves from windows, and some even dyed their hair claret and blue to show their devotion. Football was not just a game; it was heritage, identity, and community.
Even though he has moved away from the area, that connection has never faded. The colours, the memories, the roar of the terraces are all still a part of him. Every time Danny sees West Ham play, he is transported back to the streets of his childhood, to the people, the passion, and the pride of Upton Park.
