Out And About With TopJaw in London
If you haven't come across TopJaw before here's a little summary. Jesse and Will, two best buds according to their profile, travel the world documenting the best things to eat, drink and do.
We caught up with them in the culture hub that is London as they visited some of the best bakeries, cafes and restaurants in the city.
Arôme Bakery - 27 Duke St, London, W1
Arôme is one of the finest bakeries in London, showcasing French baking techniques and the very best ingredients. They bake on-site daily with premium ingredients that are inspired by the seasons, so whether it's the Croissant 1930, the Pain Au Chocolat or something a bit adventurous like the Gula Melaka Coconut Twist, we're pretty sure you'll be happy. TopJaw's Jesse was certainly thrilled with his selection, taking a little something extra for the trip home whilst wearing the Admiral Chartwell Quarter Zip top.
Chick ‘N’ Sours - 1A Earlham Street, London, WC2
What's better than fried chicken and sour cocktails? Not much, right? Well, one of the best is located in Seven Dials, London. Before settling on a physical location, Chick 'N' Sours, were working from pop-ups and food trucks, bringing people together through food, music and art. In fact, they still have the food truck which rocks up to the odd London event, so keep an eye out! Their website describes the location as 'Awesome food, wicked tunes & fun vibes' and we couldn't agree more.
Chiltern Firehouse - 1 Chiltern Street, London, W1
You've had your pastry and fried chicken, now why not head over to Chiltern Firehouse for some thing a little more 'restauranty', which celebrates contemporary, ingredient-focused cooking, with an underlying American accent. TopJaw met up with Head Chef Luke Hunns to ask him some culinary questions. You can see all the interviews over on the TopJaw instagram feed.
