Admiral x Macade Golf Collection
Admiral have joined forces with Swedish golf specialists Macade for a collection of course-ready pieces inspired by their dual sporting expertise. The collaboration sees the blending Macade’s unique understanding of golf performance wear and Admiral’s heralded archive of patterns and designs.
The collaboration is led by a Home and Away shirt, the former in a subtly striped Aubergine design and the latter in a two-tone Khaki/Blue colourway with orange
hints highlighting the dress-code meeting collar.
For the longer days on the links, the classic taped seam Admiral ¼ zip undergoes the Macade treatment, with their script logo and playful ‘golf’ mock sponsor on the chest. Matching shorts are, of course, on offer as well.
The last stop before the Clubhouse drinks is the Green zip Jacket, the design of which is inspired by an archival Admiral piece produced for the US Golf Association in the 1970’s. It’s no Masters winning jacket, but the cut, colour and subtle branding make this as good as any trophy lifted next week.
The collection is set to launch at The Open this year in Liverpool, worn by Ryder Cup team member and 10x DP World Tour winner Alex Norén.
