Admiral x 6876 - A Sportswear Project

Admiral and 6876 have a shared passion for classic British sportswear pieces which inspired a new collaboration range. The fusing of the modern menswear design aesthetics of 6876 with our deep roots in British sporting and military history seemed like a perfect combination to produce a new premium sportwear collection for AW21.

Kenneth Mackenzie, founder of 6876, has been producing premium quality clothing and accessories in his own unique style since 1995. By focusing on product and craftsmanship, not fashion, 6876 have managed to build and retain a devoted following over the last quarter of a century. It's this shared focus on garment craftsmanship that aligns the two brands and made a collaboration feel natural and instantly workable. There was also an element of nostalgia behind the partnership for the 6876 founder with fond memories of wearing Admiral football shirts growing up.

The collaboration aims to produce a sportswear line using only the highest-quality materials and manufacturing processes. This is a theme which runs through the entire menswear collection comprising the Wigston Sweatshirt which is garment dyed 460gsm cotton loopback; the Anker full zip hooded top with a lined hood and coverstitch seams throughout; and a 220gsm cotton garment dyed Aylestone T-shirt.

There's a lot of knowledge that comes with over 100 years of sportswear manufacturing and we are really proud of this new collaboration collection, it's left us with that feeling there may be more to come very soon...
